I love to teach and consider it an honor to work with children of all ages. I view the world with an educator's eye, seeking real-world connections that make learning interesting and meaningful to children. Let me help your child succeed, just like I have for hundreds of students all across Central Florida.
I earned my B.A. from Stetson, graduating Cum Laude with majors in elementary education and geography. After 15 years as a classroom teacher, I was drawn to reset my purpose and redefine my role in education. As a tutor, I can offer one-on-one support that makes a meaningful improvement. My students have seen significant results with reading and math from grades K-12. Fostering young minds makes this the most rewarding job I have ever had.

New Smyrna Tutor offers educational instruction and enhancement in Reading, Math, Social Science, History, English, Essay Writing, Public Speaking, and study skills. Math instruction spans elementary, middle, and high school, including: Pre-Algebra, Algebra I, Geometry, Algebra II, Trigonometry, Analysis of Functions, Pre-Calculus, and Calculus.
We teach students from New Smyrna Beach, Edgewater, Samsula, Oak Hill, Port Orange, and DeLand who attend public school, private school, virtual school, and homeschool. We prefer to meet at least weekly, and our schedule does fill up quickly.
New Smyrna Tutor does not strive to be the cheapest tutoring service available; we strive to be the BEST.
